This thatched heritage cottage was used as fishing cottage on the farm of the great Boer war General Johann Schoeman. General Schoeman’s home was situated on the hill in Meerhof. The cottage is furnished in African Colonial style using antiques from that period. The gardens are well kept and stocked with flowers through the year.
